തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തെ ഒരു ധനകാര്യ സ്ഥാപനത്തില്‍ നിന്ന്‌ കോടികള്‍ തട്ടിപ്പ്‌ നടത്തിയ സരിത നായരും ബിജു രാധാകൃഷ്‌ണനും 2009-ല്‍ അറസ്റ്റിലായി. എന്നാല്‍ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയശേഷം തിരുവനന്തപുരം സ്റ്റേഷന്‍ പരിധിയില്‍ മാത്രമായി എട്ടോളം കേസുകളാണ്‌ ഇവര്‍ക്കെതിരേ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട്‌ ചെയ്‌തിരിക്കുന്നത്‌. കൊല്ലം, ആലപ്പുഴ, ആറന്മുള, വലിയതുറ, കരുനാഗപ്പള്ളി, ചേര്‍ത്തല, ചെങ്ങന്നൂര്‍, നൂറനാട്‌, കോയമ്പത്തൂര്‍ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലായി 21 കേസുകളാണ്‌ ഇവരുടെ പേരില്‍ പോലീസ്‌ രജിസ്‌റ്റര്‍ ചെയ്‌തിരിക്കുന്നത്‌.
2010 ജനുവരി 16-നാണ്‌ പോലീസ്‌ ഇവരെ വീണ്ടും അറസ്‌റ്റ്‌ ചെയ്‌തത.്‌ എസ്‌ബിടി, റിസര്‍വ്‌ ബാങ്ക്‌ തുടങ്ങിയ ബാങ്കുകളുടെ വ്യാജ ലെറ്റര്‍ പാഡുകള്‍ കാണിച്ച്‌ ലോണ്‍ വാങ്ങിച്ചു തരാമെന്ന വ്യാജേനെ രണ്ടു കോടിയോളം രൂപ ഇവര്‍ തട്ടിയെടുത്തിരുന്നു.
